School Announcements
As an administrator you can make announcements to individual clubs or to groups. When you go to the Announcements page and click Make Announcement, you have two options:
The second option is a regular message to a club. This is what all club leaders and faculty advisors have access to.
The first option "Select to make announcement to group" is a unique administrator feature that enables you to make announcements to groups of people that aren't part of one club.
Announcements to groups are sent via email and are visible on Club Hub's main announcement feed. We recommend using this for all club related communications so students can find all information in one place.
The group options include:
Everyone with an approved account will get notified (Students, Faculty, College or Academic Advisors, Administrators).
All Students will receive this announcement.
All Faculty, College or Academic Advisors, and Administrators will receive this announcement.
Anyone in the school who is a club leader or faculty advisor will receive this announcement.
Every Student who is a club leader will receive this announcement.
Every Faculty, College or Academic Advisor, and Administrator who is a faculty advisor will receive this announcement.
At the end of each school year, you can graduate all seniors with the click of a button. They will be moved to a new category called Alumni and you can send announcements to their email. Note: Alumni will not be able to log into Club Hub and are asked to share their personal email when they graduate.
You can send a message to specific club categories. Club categories are customized by administrators during the Club Hub Onboarding process. Club leaders select which categories their club belongs to. When sending an announcement to a Category, you can select on or more categories. All the faculty advisors, club leaders, members, and interested members in a club that contains one of the message categories will receive the announcement via email and see it on their announcement feed.
