Using Kiosk Mode for Attendance

Taking attendance at club meetings just got easier! With Kiosk Mode, you can set up a shared device where club members check themselves in by entering their school email.


When to Use Kiosk Mode


  • Large clubs where checking off names takes too long
  • Staggered arrivals when students arrive at different times
  • Phone-free environments where students can't use their personal devices


How to Open Kiosk Mode


  1. Go to Events and click on your meeting
  2. Click Take Attendance
  3. Click the green Open Kiosk Mode button

The Kiosk Sign-In Screen


Once open, students will see a simple sign-in screen:

Students just:

  1. Enter their school email address
  2. Click Sign In
  3. They're marked as present!


Tips for Success


  • Set up a dedicated device — use a laptop or tablet at the entrance
  • Keep the kiosk open — students can sign in throughout the meeting
  • Monitor attendance — check-ins appear in real-time on your attendance list


Note


Kiosk Mode must be enabled by your school administrator. If you don't see the "Open Kiosk Mode" button, ask your admin to turn it on in School Settings.
