Using Kiosk Mode for Attendance
Taking attendance at club meetings just got easier! With Kiosk Mode, you can set up a shared device where club members check themselves in by entering their school email.
When to Use Kiosk Mode
- Large clubs where checking off names takes too long
- Staggered arrivals when students arrive at different times
- Phone-free environments where students can't use their personal devices
How to Open Kiosk Mode
- Go to Events and click on your meeting
- Click Take Attendance
- Click the green Open Kiosk Mode button
The Kiosk Sign-In Screen
Once open, students will see a simple sign-in screen:
Students just:
- Enter their school email address
- Click Sign In
- They're marked as present!
Tips for Success
- Set up a dedicated device — use a laptop or tablet at the entrance
- Keep the kiosk open — students can sign in throughout the meeting
- Monitor attendance — check-ins appear in real-time on your attendance list
